on nothing more than a $200 weapons surcharge

Army gunships, and attacked the compound with
dozens of stoked, reckless agents employing
massive gun power. The footage on this video
demonstrates that the Branch Davidians did not
meet the ATF with "a hail of gunfire." You'll see un
threatened ATF agents riddling the front of the
compound with gunfire, fully aware that inside
were dozens of women and children. The ATF had
plenty of time to shoot not only the house; they
fired on themselves, other agents, children
playing outside, long before a Branch Davidian
fired a single shot in self defense. The video also
details the FBI's effective bamboozlement of a
compliant press, but the most controversial part of
the tape comes at the end, when Thompson
provides footage allegedly showing government
tanks with flamethrowers that she contends set
the fire that killed all 89 people inside. You may

part in the total process of world
history. But once it contributes its
share to world history it can no longer

history. The submersion in the total
process prevents a people's cultural
rebirth, because it has exhausted its
creativity in the historical growth of its
guiding spirit. It is for this reason that
one of Hegel's disciples, Michelet,
considered the idea of a renaissance
of the Jewish people as philosophically

Spirit out of which emerges the
unlimited universal spirit. A comparison
is introduced here between the status
of an individual and that of a nation's
spirit. In the process of his formation
the individual undergoes various
changes without, however, losing his
identity. As a part of world history, a
nation—exhibiting a certain trend
expressed in its Volksgeist— plays its
part in the total process of world
history. But once it contributes its
share to world history it can no longer
play a role in the process of world
history. The submersion in the total
process prevents a people's cultural
rebirth, because it has exhausted its
creativity in the historical growth of its
guiding spirit. It is for this reason that
one of Hegel's disciples, Michelet,
considered the idea of a renaissance
of the Jewish people as philosophically
impossible.

The Dangers of the "North American Union"

Since Rupert Murdoch’s offer was made public, volumes have
been written on what this historic deal might mean to journalism in
America. A fair bit of the criticism and concern surrounding News
Corp.’s bid for Dow Jones has focused on Murdoch himself and
his well-documented penchant for employing his media outlets to
advance his personal and business interests.
Some may say we should just let the market take its course. But
today’s media system isn’t simply the evolutionary result of
“market forces at work.” It’s the result of policies created by
Congress and enforced by the FCC. Without those policies,
Murdoch couldn’t have built his media empire. Only by restoring
public input in the policymaking process, can we reverse this
trend and make America’s media a healthier place where a
marketplace of ideas and the free market can co-exist.
