Leaving The
Crime Scene
I am one of the many Americans who feel we as
the United States must pull our troops out of Iraq .
This sounds like an easy thing to do. It's not.
You know the repercussion would be very hard.
Kind of like robbing a bank and then changing
your mind in the middle and walking away. It just
doesn’t work like that.
The crime has all ready happened. Thousands of
Iraq citizens have been killed and millions of
people’s lives are in turmoil and chaos and are
feeling grief and feeling anger towards Americans ,
President Bush calls it liberation.
So how dose America pull out gracefully?
I don't have an answer for that, and I think about it
all the time.
We all have to understand there are great cultural
differences in many of the things we do and take
for granted, they may seem strange and
sometimes immoral to the Iraqi people. Just as
some of the Iraqi customs may seem strange and
sometimes immoral to many well meaning Bible
thumping Americans.
But who are we to judge?
Take a close look at ourselves as a nation,
yes who are we to judge? The truth is that its not
the people to blame we are the victims just as the
Iraqi people are even though the war is being
fought over there.
We have been lied to. Our good natured well
meaning ness has been taken advantage of , We’
ve been 'duped, flimflamed, hogwashed, fooled,'
and
just plain bull shitted.

Meet the Neocons..........Who's plane was not to
remove Sadom Hassan from power to liberate the
people, but rather to take control of all of the
wealth of that country. George Bush and his
gangster’s have deceived the American people
with lies about terrorist ties ,weapons of mass
destruction, chemacal warfare the list goes on.
They even lie about the election , which is an
sacred American heritage but then stepped all
over that too. There’s so much lying I cannot cover
it in one article .

demonstrates how the Us Army used chemical
weapons to eradicate the insurgents in Fallujah,
Iraq, regardless of civilian deaths. People were
burned alive. A whole city was sieged and razed to

encouraged to shoot anyone, including children. No
journalists were allowed in the area, the few ones
who entered despite this were harassed, had
strange incidents or were kidnapped by Iraqi gangs.
Their video footage was destroyed. Recently, the

The Engine of War:
Iraq:
Forget Israel, Befriend Russia
By Charley Reese
3-17-7

A Little more than half of the U.S. Population lives
in 75 metropolitan areas. Russia has 4,399
nuclear warheads deployed. Except for 624 to be
carried by bombers, they are all land-based and
submarine missiles.

Furthermore, this past week Russia test-fired a
land-based missile, the RSM54, and a
submarine-launched missile. Both were
intercontinental. Both hit their targets dead-on.
The sub launch was, by the way, the sixth such
test-firing conducted this year.

In the meantime, Iran has no nuclear weapons and
no intercontinental ballistic missiles or long-range
bombers. North Korea might have two or three
nuclear missiles. Yet the administration, and most
of America's news media, seems obsessed with
Iran, no doubt because Israel is obsessed with
Iran. A story by the Jewish Telegraph Agency
reported that the American Israel Public Affairs
Committee played a lobbying role in deleting a
provision in the defense bill that would have
required the president to get Congress' OK before
launching a war against Iran.

So what's my point? First, when assessing threats,
all but fools look at capability, not intentions or
rhetoric. Russia has the capability of wiping us out.
Iran would be hard-pressed to sink one destroyer.
Therefore, it would behoove us to put good
relations with Russia very high on a diplomatic
agenda. Yet, on the contrary, the Bush
administration goes out of its way to insult Russia
and to interfere in what Russia sees as its internal
affairs.

Secondly, because of the cowardice of Congress,
the U.S. Government has allowed a little country in
the Middle East (Israel) to distort our priorities. Our
first priority should be getting along with Russia.
Iran is a small country we can squash anytime.
Russia is not small, and it can squash us anytime.
How darn stupid does one have to be not to realize
that?

We've already blundered by not seizing the
opportunity of the collapse of the Soviet Union to
disband NATO and seriously pursue helping
Russia join the West. Instead, we sent some
financial sharpies in to help a few Russians steal
most of the country's wealth. Russia's president,
Vladimir Putin, is 100 percent correct to go after
the oligarchs who bought up the state's resources
for pennies on the dollar and became overnight
billionaires. One is in jail, another fled to England,
and several others have sought refuge in Israel.

When you hear Putin being maligned by people in
the West, whether they're in government,
journalism or academia, just remember that money
buys whores, and whores service their customers.

Future historians may view the failure to bring
Russia into the West, when the opportunity was
there, as one of history's all-time strategic
blunders.

The only legitimate interest we have in the Middle
East is access to oil. Notice I said access, not
control. It doesn't matter who controls it, because
whoever does will be willing to sell it, since oil is
inedible. Other than that, we have no I repeat, no
legitimate interests, national or otherwise, in that
region of the world.

American politicians need to get over their fear of
the Israeli lobby and attend to America's business.
Israel is a sovereign state with one of the world's
most powerful military machines and a higher per
capita gross domestic product than some of our
NATO allies. We should cut the strings, stop the
tax giveaways, repeal all of the special legislation
and tell the Israelis they are on their own.

But, as John Wayne once said, that'll be the day.
Say No To WAR!
War is an unnecessary evil that has pledged

Education, tolerance, open dialog, honesty

Israel: Syria, Iran, Hezbollah
preparing for war in summer
JERUSALEM, April 1 (Xinhua) -- Head of Israeli
Military Intelligence Major General Amos Yadlin
said Sunday that Syria, Iran and the Hezbollah are
preparing for a war in the summer, local
newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth reported.

"Their preparation is defensive ahead of war...
They fear a war initiated by the Americans
because they understand that there might be an
attack against Iran over the summer, but not by
Israel," Yadlin was quoted as telling the cabinet
meeting.

According to Yadlin, his military intelligence
estimates that Israel may also be involved in the
war.

"We are closely following these preparations, for
fear that one of the sides misinterprets certain
moves in the region. I bring up the Six Day War in
this context - when you reach a war no one is
interested in as a result of the involvement of
many players," he said.

Regarding Palestinian Islamic Resistance
Movement (Hamas), Yadlin said that Palestinian
Prime Minister Ismail Haneya has warned that if the
international financial embargo on Gaza is not
lifted within three months, a third Intifada (uprising)
will breakout.

There are senior Hamas members who are
displeased with the Saudi Arabia-proposed Arab
peace initiative and Hamas' military branch has
renewed its activity, Yadlin added.

WHAT IS ANTISEMITISM?
By Rev. Ted Pike
28 Dec 06

Antisemitism is the racist belief that Jews are
genetically evil and subversive and should be
persecuted. This is what Hitler believed.
Today, the term “Antisemitism” has been broadly
mis defined for use as a political weapon, to
silence any criticism of Israel, Judaism, or liberal
Jewish activism. Those who make the simplest
statements of unflattering truth about Israeli or
Jewish actions are smeared as anti-Semites.

oligarchists who self-select from among their

the Middle Ages. In this One World entity,
population will be limited by restrictions on the
number of children per family, diseases, wars,
famines, until 1 billion people who are useful to the
ruling class, in areas which will be strictly and
clearly defined, remain as the total world
population.

There will be no middle class, only rulers and the
servants. All laws will be uniform under a legal
system of world courts practicing the same unified
code of  laws, backed up by a One World
Government police force and a One World unified
military to enforce laws in all former countries
where no national boundaries shall exist. The
system will be on the basis of a welfare state;
those who are obedient and subservient to the
One World Government will be rewarded with the
means to live; those who are rebellious will simple
be starved to death or be declared outlaws, thus a
target for anyone who wishes to kill them. Privately
owned firearms or weapons of any kind will be
prohibited."

Distracting Congress from the
Real War Plan: Iran
by Paul Craig Roberts

Is the surge an orchestrated distraction from the
real war plan?
A good case can be made that it is. The US
Congress and media are focused on President
Bush’s proposal for an increase of 20,000 US
troops in Iraq, while Israel and its American
neoconservative allies prepare an assault on Iran.
Commentators have expressed puzzlement over
President Bush’s appointment of a US Navy admiral
as commander in charge of the ground wars in Iraq
and Afghanistan. The appointment makes sense
only if the administration’s attention has shifted from
the insurgencies to an attack on Iran.
The Bush administration has recently doubled its
aircraft carrier forces and air power in the Persian
Gulf. According to credible news reports, the Israeli
air force has been making practice runs in
preparation for an attack on Iran.

Recently, Israeli military and political leaders have
described Israeli machinations to manipulate the
American public and their representatives into
supporting or joining an Israeli assault on Iran.
Two US carrier task forces or strike groups will
certainly congest the Persian Gulf. On January 9, a
US nuclear sub collided with a Japanese tanker in
the Persian Gulf. Two carrier groups will have scant
room for maneuver. Their purpose is either to
provide the means for a hard hit on Iran or to serve
as sitting ducks for a new Pearl Harbor that would
rally Americans behind the new war.
Whether our ships are hit by Iran in retaliation to an
attack from Israel or suffer an orchestrated attack
by Israel that is blamed on the Iranians, there are
certainly far more US naval forces in the Persian
Gulf than prudence demands.

Bush’s proposed surge appears to have no real
military purpose. The US military opposes it as
militarily pointless and as damaging to the US Army
and Marine Corps. The surge can only be
accomplished by keeping troops deployed after the
arrival of their replacements. Moreover, the
increase in numbers that can be achieved in this
way are far short of the numbers required to put
down the insurgency and civil war.

The only purpose of the surge is to distract
Congress while plans are implemented to widen the
war.

Weapons inspectors have failed to find a nuclear
weapons program in Iran. Most experts say it would
be years before Iran could make a weapon even if
the Iranian government is actively working on a
weapons program. Since the danger, if any, is
years away, why is Israel so determined to attack
Iran now?

The answer might be that Israel has the chance
now. The Bush administration is in its pocket. The
White House is working with neoconservatives, not
with the American foreign policy community
represented by the Iraq Study Group.
Neoconservative propagandists are in influential
positions in the media. The US Congress is
intimidated by AIPAC. The correlation of forces are
heavily in Israel’s favor.

Part of the Israeli/neoconservative plan has already
been achieved with the destruction of civilian
infrastructure and spread of sectarian strife in Iraq,
Afghanistan, and Lebanon. If Iran can be taken out
with a powerful air attack that might involve nuclear
weapons, Syria would be isolated and Hezbollah
would be cut off from Iranian supplies.

Israel has two years remaining to use its American
resources to achieve its aims in the Middle East.
How influential will Israel and the neoconservatives
be with the next president in the wake of a US
defeat in Iraq and Israeli defeat in Lebanon? If the
US withdraws its troops from Iraq, as the US military
and foreign policy community recommend and as
polls show the American public wants, the only
effect of Bush’s Iraq invasion will have been to
radicalize Muslims against Israel, the US, and US
puppet governments in the Middle East. Extremist
elements will tout their victory over the US, and the
pressures on Israel to accept a realistic
accommodation with Palestinians will be
overpowering.

Now is the chance – the only chance – for Israel
and the neoconservatives to achieve their goal of
bringing Muslims to heel, a goal that they have
been writing about and working to achieve for a
decade.

This goal requires the war to be widened by
whatever deceit and treachery necessary to bring
the American public along.

The US Congress must immediately refocus its
attention from the surge to Iran, the real target of
Bush administration aggression.

More Muscular Interventionism
The Foreign Policy of Barack Obama
By JEFF TAYLOR

Barack Obama provides no alternative to Hillary
Clinton, in terms of imperial-minded foreign policy.
This is doubly regrettable since Clinton herself
provides no substantive alternative to the
neoconservative philosophy of the Bush
administration.

As with Clinton and the other "respectable"
contenders for the Democratic presidential
nomination, Senator Obama has consistently
voted to fund the war and has opposed an
immediate withdrawal of American troops. While
state legislator Obama opposed an immediate war
with Iraq in 2002-03, he did not do so on
anti-imperial or noninterventionist grounds. He
opposed the war at a time when the idea was
relatively unpopular, especially among his Chicago
constituents. He later backpedaled somewhat from
his public opposition.

Referring to the U.S. Senate authorization vote of
2002 and senators having access to intelligence
reports, in July 2004, he told the New York Times,

Israel approves Gaza
sanctions
The Israeli defence minister has approved
sanctions against Palestinian civilians in
Gaza, including electricity and fuel cuts, in
response to rocket attacks.
The decision was announced on Thursday
after Ehud Barak convened a security
assessment with the army's top brass and
defence officials.
The Israeli defence ministry said in a
statement that Barak had "approved the
recommendations from defence officials for
periodic cuts in electricity and limitations on
fuel supplies, given the continued rocket
attacks". It was not immediately clear when the
measures would come into effect.
Israel says they will increase pressure on
Gaza's already impoverished population in an
effort to force Palestinian armed groups to
stop rocket attacks against southern Israel
that the army has struggled to curb.
"We are left with no choice but to take these
steps. I assume they will have an effect, even
if not immediately," Matan Vilnai, the deputy
defence minister,
said a day before Barak's decision finalised
the proposal. "We are looking at a gradual
disengagement from Gaza in terms of
electricity supplies so they can supply
electricity for themselves," he told army radio.
'Collective punishment'
But the Palestinians and international human
rights organisations say that any such move
amounts to collective punishment of the
civilian population, crammed into the narrow
coastal enclave, in breach of international law.
The Carter Centre, a human rights group
founded by former US president Jimmy Carter,
meanwhile, urged Israel to maintain energy
supplies to Gaza.
"The Carter Centre sees this proposal as the
collective punishment of 1.4 million people for
the actions of a few," it said before the Israeli
defence minister's decision was announced.
Last month Israel declared Gaza a "hostile
entity" after Hamas's bloody takeover of the
territory in June, paving the way for sanctions
against the territory such as cutting vital water
and fuel supplies.
Isolation
Already reeling from a Western freeze on
direct aid after Hamas won elections in 2006,
Gaza has been further isolated from the
outside world since the takeover as Israel
restricts all but vital humanitarian supplies.
According to Israeli and Palestinian officials,
Gaza's population uses about 200 megawatts
of electricity, of which 120 are provided
directly from Israeli power lines,
17 are delivered from Egypt, and 65 are
produced at a local Palestinian plant.
Barak's approval was the final step needed
before any reduction of electrical supplies
could be implemented.
Palestinian armed groups frequently fire
short-range rockets into southern Israel from
the Gaza Strip, attacks Israeli incursions and
air strikes have failed to stop.
Israeli forces killed at least three gunmen on
the Gaza border on Thursday.
